Gateway Arch, a 630-foot monument in St. Louis, Missouri, U.S., is considered the world’s tallest arch and the tallest human-made monument in the Western Hemisphere.
The arch adorns the skyline even when approaching downtown St. Louis. Have you seen it before?

The entrance to the arch is just a short distance from the arch base on either end. You can purchase your tickets for a ride inside the arch online or purchase them at the entrance visitor center.
If you choose not to ride through the arch you can visit the museum after going through the security checkpoint. It has excellent displays and information about the arch itself.
This is the first post of a series on the arch highlighting arch angles and the surrounding area.
Blessings!

Love the first photo of the arch — great perspective! Thanks for following Oh, the Places We See. We like many of the same things. And best wishes on safe travels always. Rusha Sams
Thanks so much. I agree we like many of the same things and your posts are fantastic. Safe travels to you as well.
I love visiting the Arch!😊
I know what you mean. It is amazing.
I remember I got to visit it just for a quick view, but shortly after it was completed. Wow, what a structure it is! I wish all countries would focus on building wonderful things that stress what they can do in their countries! How wonderful that might be.
That’s great. I know what you mean. If only countries and societies could work together for the common good. Thank you.
I’ve been a few times – the most recent when I was in college. I’m due for another visit 🙂 Great pictures
Yep, time to visit again. 🙂 Thanks much.
I do hope to visit some day.
I could spend more time there but that stop was enroute to Colorado. Maybe I’ll plan another trip. 🙂
I would love to visit it some day, looks like an interesting piece of architecture. Thanks for sharing Ron!
My pleasure Tanya. It is interesting and intriguing. Worth a trip. 🙂
definitely some day!
