When traveling to St. Louis, Missouri, one of the excellent restaurants to experience some of the best barbeque (BBQ) around is Sugarfire Smokehouse. It is located in the heart of downtown St. Louis.
We’re doing something completely different at Sugarfire. We take the best traditions of the best barbecue cities in the U.S.A. to create a St. Louis style barbecue that’s all its own. Our award-winning barbeque tantalizes taste buds with baby back ribs, juicy pulled pork, and the best beef brisket in town. And we’re famous for our specials: meaty mashups that defy logic and even gravity. Alongside the classics, we’ve ‘cued up andouille, artichokes, cheese curds, mushrooms, and more. https://sugarfiresmokehouse.com/
I believed the positive publicity I had heard of Sugarfire and had to try it for ourselves.
You may experience a long line waiting for the mouth-watering meat and side dishes but you’ll be glad you waited, and I’m not the one to wait more than fifteen minutes to order food. This was one of the primary restaurants identified beforehand to visit so we had to experience it.
I like the beverage area – ranging from soft drinks to sweet and unsweetened tea.
The atmosphere is pleasant with the blues decor.

You can even hear live blues being played in the connecting stage area. The blues museum is connected to Sugarfire.

So, when you are in St. Louis, I think this is a must try.
And, either before or after eating at Sugarfire, why not take a carriage ride. We rode in the princess one and had a pleasant non-narrated trip through some of the historic and modern downtown St. Louis area.
Blessings!

That is beautiful !! My son is in Missouri hopefully after Basic he can check it out .. my husband will be going there o cannot fly and and the drive in Dec is too far …
Thanks so much. I trust he is doing well with basic. Before long he’ll be done and will move on to his advanced training. Maybe he’ll get a chance to get some good Q when he gets a short liberty or between assignments. 🙂
He is doing well , but does miss home and he kept saying when he called home on his first phone call . I think hearing our voices did it . Thank you for asking . I believe he would love the Q.
That’s great. I’m proud of each of you. 🙂
Thank you!🙂
Sounds delicious and looks great!
It was. We just came through Texas after Colorado and experienced some other eateries. I’ll post some of those reviews in the near future. Each place we targeted for eating has a specialty and was different. 🙂
That looks wonderful (I am hungry now).
I know what you mean. It was quite delicious and the servers at the line were fantastic. 🙂
Love St. Louis!
Thanks for your comment Cindy. It has a lot of history and great environment. I’ll be posting some arch photos soon. 🙂
