Behold the beauty of rust and years past;
We see orange, red, brown and black;
Wondering how long things will last.
In life things fade;
Natural elements take their toll.
If only we can keep them new,
But change comes with the old.
That’s okay – because this is life;
Old can become refreshed and new.
If only we see the value underneath –
But it comes from observance of a few.
How do we perceive life and remnants?
Antique, rusty or valued into history?
Each must decide! All life has worth.

Wonderful!
Just to highlight that I fully agree with your sentence: “…Old can become refreshed and new. If only we see the value underneath”

Thank you very much. I strongly believe there is value in all life and inanimate objects. Old is relative too, isn’t it?

Thanks. I agree. I’m really glad to see more antique places and “rebirth” opportunities. 🙂
